Commercial Sales Manager (Sports and Media rights holders)

Location: Hammersmith (3 minutes from the Tube)

At the centre of this model is a high performing sales function servicing the needs of publishers, sports rights holders, brands and media companies.

Goals, Objectives and Responsibilities

The successful candidate for the Commercial Sales Manager - Sports and Media rights holders, will be responsible for driving revenue and delivering against targets in each area. She/he will be expected to create/deliver:

  • Multi-faceted Sports and Media rights holders’ partnerships for Gfinity
  • Generate revenue from leveraging Gfinity owned and operated assets
  • Integrated sponsorship and partnership offerings for brand and media partners
  • Create sales documentation and supporting reporting process
  • Oversee third party negotiation and contracting
  • Create a handover process to account delivery team
  • Feed into the wider Gfinity business strategy – e.g. governance and process development
  • Strategize and then develop new products relevant to brand and media partners objectives

Key requirements (qualifications and skills)

  • Sales experience and track record of consistently delivering or exceeding targets
  • Ability to connect and be comfortable with different levels in sporting and media organisations up to the C-suite
  • Commercially minded and able to communicate via regular reporting
  • Self-starter, tenacious and motivated by the delivery of targets
  • Driven, ambitious and effective in a matrix organisation
  • Structured thinker and strong presenter with the ability to map out a strategic plan for each account
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented team player with good interpersonal skills
  • A team player and a positive, motivating person to be around
  • You are ideally working for a media platform, a sports agency, or a top tier rights holder
  • You love gaming and you want to know (or you already do know) everything about the Esports industry!
