General Purpose:

  • We are looking for an experienced Channel Marketing Manager to add value and drive strategic product marketing activities to meet revenue and margin goals across our EU business.
  • The role is integral to the continued growth across EU markets and the goal is to increase company’s margin and revenue achievements across the region.
  • The role will work across multiple teams, be able to keep up to date with trends and market conditions and provide strategic advice to senior management.
  • The position will require an entrepreneurial mindset and good leadership skills, and be solution led with excellent organisational abilities.
  • Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Responsibility for EMEA P&L for the PC gaming peripheral category and ability to make decisions in real time
  • Understanding profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share
  • Manage a remote team of channel marketing managers to support Corsair EMEA business. Team members can be located in various countries
  • Support Sales team in day to day account pricing requirement and demand planning
  • Be the key connection between the Sales team, HQ Channel Marketing team and Product Marketing team
  • Determine pricing and promotional strategy together with HQ channel marketing team and execute the Product Line's P&L goal
  • Manage request for quote process and approve pricing base on HQ guidelines. Publish price list as needed
  • Ensure our customers properly promote and position Corsair's focus products
  • Managing successful launch of each new product i.e.price lists, availability, forecasts etc.
  • Conduct permanent competitive analysis cross channel, in order to provide market feedback to the product managers
  • Use forecasting techniques to assist the manufacturing division in supply planning. (e.g. analysis of 'sales out' data from key customers)
  • Monitor channel inventory and velocity to determine business opportunity and optimizing program investment
  • Maintaining an awareness of external factors (including competitors, market developments) which impact the business. Communicating such information and any subsequent changes to the Senior Team
  • Stay on top of Product Roadmap and product launch plan to ensure a successful execution at launch
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators in line with business objectives and drive quarterly business review with customers to provide feedback to Corsair business team members
  • Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the extended team
  • Working closely with all aspects of the business to gather product and channel insights
  • Utilise data and consumer insights to provide recommendations to drive category distribution and market share
  • Oversee day to day channel operations across the EU region
  • Understanding changing and differing priorities depending on territories and how these impact channel marketing

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years experience in Product Management or P&L management preferably in the gaming peripheral industry
  • Able to influence the thinking and actions of higher colleagues and external business partners
  • Experience in the gaming environment and/or internet & retail
  • Good presentation skill set
  • Able to manipulate data and an analytical thinker
  • Able to manage a global virtual team effectively
  • Educated to degree level
  • Strong leadership skills and experience
  • Innovative with entrepreneurial flair
  • Proven strategic aptitude and ability
  • Ability to influence at a senior level, both internally and externally
  • Commercially astute and customer focused
  • Hands-on approach, with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment
