Welcome back to our weekly jobs roundup, the only place you need to be each week to see the hottest careers of the past seven days.

We’ve grown accustomed to roundups jam-packed with careers that make our jaws drop, but we’d have to say this edition features some really special roles.

Let us show you what we mean…

Why we love this job:

  • Nothing gets received as well as full time remote work by our users, and we aim to please!
  • What’s more, full time writing is rare in esports
  • Although it’s not a focus of this role, live attendance at esports events can be considered too!

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • 3 years of professional writing experience
  • The ability to work odd hours, and under tight deadlines
  • A deep knowledge of esports - this isn’t a role focused on just one game!

Why we love this job:

  • We know people love community management, and working on Fortnite Creative just makes it even better
  • By definition, the people you’d work with are creative gamers, which has to be pretty appealing!
  • You’ll spend plenty of time working on social media, from Twitter to Facebook to Twitch

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • 2+ years of experience managing a gaming community
  • Able to juggle many responsibilities at the same time
  • Good knowledge and experience of Fortnite Creative, or another building game (looking at you, current and ex-Minecraft players)

Why we love this job:

  • It’s a chance to work on the Call of Duty franchised league and help guide a team through it
  • It’s about as close to the action as you can get in esports
  • There’s opportunities to travel to esports events as frequently as you’d imagine

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • Previous sports or esports management experience
  • A college degree in a related field to business administration
  • A passion for Call of Duty!

Why we love this job:

  • There’s a lot of hype around Modern Warfare, and we think we’re getting on board
  • The job comes just around CWL Anaheim, so let’s double that hype
  • Marketing is one of the most popular sectors on our platform, and this is a stand out role in the area!

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • Familiarity with the Call of Duty franchise a whole
  • 2 years experience in social or community roles
  • Incredibly strong understanding of gaming content and communities

Why we love this job:

  • Take a look at their “This Week in Chaos” series on YouTube and we think you’ll love them, too
  • It’s a junior position with a top organization which is always warming to see
  • Travel to events, locally and internationally, to capture footage of the teams!

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • A creative mind able to conceive new and original ideas for content
  • Experience recording with SLR and DSLR cameras.
  • A degree in film studies or a similar area is preferred, but not required

Why we love this job:

  • It’s rare to see an events job in esports that is not senior level, so this coming through was good to see!
  • You’ll join a dedicated esports events stadium, which is a cool place to cool the office
  • Located in Texas, you’ll be part of the esports hub in the state

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Past experience in event planning
  • Endemic esports experience and team management experience preferred, but not required

Why we love this job:

  • Scouting streamers and content creators. Full time. With G2.
  • If that wasn’t cool enough, this position can be worked from anywhere in the USA, though does require visits to the Berlin HQ.
  • You’ll even attend events frequently to represent G2’s talent and creators there.

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • Proven experience as a talent manager, scout or equivalent position
  • Top knowledge of PR and branding
  • Expert knowledge of the streamer and content creator space in gaming and esports

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • 1 year of experience in a similar / relevant position working with clients
  • Networking ability to build relationships with current clients and locate new ones
  • A good understanding of the esports industry

Why we love this job:

  • It’s always great to see a non-endemic company hiring in esports, and we’ve seen TikTok steadily rise in popularity
  • As a senior partnerships role, you’ll have the ability to forge some major deals in the industry
  • There’s some good overlap between TikTok’s sharing platform and esports

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • 5-10 years of experience in senior positions in esports
  • Past experience negotiating deals and partnerships
  • A strong list of contacts

Why we love this job:

  • We recently asked on Twitter what people would work as if they could do anything they wanted to in esports. We heard the suggestion of designer for the Overwatch League a few times
  • You’d be at the forefront of a league that is trying to push esports to the next level
  • They encourage creativity and a passion for esports and pop culture, which is good to see!

What you’ll need to make it yours:

  • 4 years of experience in a role related to graphic design
  • Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Existing knowledge of Overwatch and Overwatch League design themes
