Your Mission

Activision Blizzard Consumer Products Group division seeks a Senior Manager, Finance and Strategy to help support a fast-growing global licensing business. AB CPG drives nearly half a billion in Consumer Retail Sales annually and manages a premiere roster of licensees around the world. With IP such as Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and Esports, our licensed products drive profitability for the company, extend our brand reach and deepen fan engagement. This position will report to the Senior Finance Director and will support the Director, Finance and Strategy in managing Corporate financial planning and analysis, strategy, financial modeling and reporting. The role will also be responsible for consolidating and communicating the financial state of the business to internal stakeholders including business leads, category managers, creative, and finance teams. Lastly, this individual will support the division business leads in deal and business analysis, helping drive insights and decision making across all titles and territories.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support global sales forecasting and the quarterly licensing forecast process by analyzing historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and competitive landscape across other IP
  • Support licensing analysis and insights for new business opportunities
  • Support CPG business leads on special projects, long-term strategy, and forecasting
  • Build new and streamline existing reports, creating packages for management, establishing KPIs, setting forecasts, and analyzing results
  • Advise on financial process and systems improvement initiatives for the business
  • Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions including forecasts, annual operating plans, long-term plans, KPI analysis, variance analysis, and preparing for various stages of executive review
  • Manage planning forecasts in Hyperion (Revenue, Opex, etc.) and leverage Oracle Essbase / Smartview to develop efficient reporting of quarterly results
  • Liaise with various Corporate shared services teams as necessary (e.g. FP&A, Accounting, Legal, etc.)
  • Routinely evaluate existing controls, policies and procedures to support regional growth and expansion

Player Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • Ability to communicate written and verbal business intelligence to executive leadership teams
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Finance
  • Strategy and/or Product Management preferred
  • Strong quantitative research, data analysis and Excel modeling capabilities
  • Experience in developing business cases including pro-forma projections
