Description: The Livestream Quality Assurance Specialist will conduct various tests to assure the platform quality and response to user inquiries to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has a customer service mentality, a great sense of knowledge in the live streaming industry and game industry, and the desire to turn that passion into a career.


  • Examine, analyze and test any errors and bugs of the platform.
  • Test new features and functions of the platform as instructed within a given period of time.
  • Write error reports which are sent to the development team for rectification. When the error has been fixed by the development team, the QA specialist verifies that the fix works properly.
  • Deliver clear understandable responses to user inquiries and assist users with resolving issues through our support channels.
  • Analyze and investigate platform complaints or reported quality issues, gather additional information from users and send it to the development team.
  • Write and post a notice regarding any service maintenance, updates and changes.
  • Translate and localize new features and functions from Korean to English.
  • Assist individual broadcasters to improve their stream quality.
  • Monitor live service to ensure the platform is operating with no issue.
  • Conduct industry research of comparable platform by examining and evaluating competitors' activities and create reports.
  • Assist to plan and execute online and offline eSports projects.
  • Other related duties as required.


  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and self-managed
  • Deep knowledge of the live streaming industry and existing communities
  • Familiarity with the AfreecaTV platform as a viewer and broadcaster.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work with team members in a positive and proactive manner to achieve shared objectives.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Bonus Points:

  • Previous employment at a game/media website, game developer, or as a Customer Support, QA Tester.
  • Previous experience as a streamer, broadcaster or a content creator.
  • Expert with all the third party tools on AfreecaTV (OBS /Xsplit)
  • Advanced knowledge of contemporary technology
  • Proficiency with other live streaming platforms and communities.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.
  • Existing relationships with game industry and broadcasting community
  • Experience with eSports, live video content, or gaming communities
  • Analytics and data driven
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast-paced environment.
