We are looking for a product marketing manager to create best-in-class marketing plans for Amazon GameOn and see them through to execution.

Amazon GameOn is a set of flexible APIs that allow you to build cross-platform competitions into your games that drive engagement and increase monetization. With GameOn, you have an easy tool to strengthen your fan base with leaderboards and leagues, awarding in-game and real-world prizes fulfilled by Amazon, and allowing players and streamers to create their own user-generated competitions.

The product marketing manager will develop and execute the Amazon GameOn go-to-market strategies focusing primary on game developers and content creators (streamers). The product marketing manager will be responsible for driving product and service launches, ongoing growth, developer and content creator engagement. Her/his prime directive will be to ensure GameOn’s services and features are known, understood, and used. This is a great chance to get in on the ground floor, defining how our initiatives are brought to developers and content creators. The product marketing manager will have the opportunity to drive the success of products used by millions of gamers around the globe. The Product Marketing Manager will hold a high bar for measurement of marketing activities, and will define success metrics, measurement methods and reporting processes for their efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans, identify key marketing strategies, and tactics to support the launch of a product or service and ongoing engagement beyond initial push.
  • Test, measure, analyze, and optimize all marketing channels and activities on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with engineering to return customer and developer feedback to shape the product roadmap.
  • Work effectively across the organization with groups such as product management, content operations, business development, UX, and other marketing teams to achieve business goals.
  • Manage budget, forecasting and reporting on a monthly basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for the gaming space or prior gaming industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in B2B marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in product marketing, marketing communications, or demand generation in high-tech companies.
  • Experience with brand, acquisition, reactivation, and retention marketing, both paid and organic.
  • Experience taking new products and features to market.
  • 5+ years B2B SaaS marketing.
  • 3+ years marketing funnel optimization and analytics.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or other relevant master's degree.
  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves to deliver; owner mentality.
  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and our customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Successfully able to present to and influence management at the director level.
  • Ability to analyze quantitatively and problem-solve efficiently.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture.
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
