This role will focus on strategic partnerships and activations with emerging and non-traditional sports platforms, such as e-sports, as well as entertainment properties. It will also work closely with the Restaurant Experience and Technology teams to bring partnerships to life inside the restaurant, in an effort to create a differentiated experience. This role will build compelling emerging/non-traditional sports and entertainment partnerships and activations that generate brand affinity and conversation among the target audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Top 5 should cover 80% of the important job functions)

  • Lead all facets of emerging sports and entertainment partnerships and activation: strategy, partner identification, program development and execution.
  • Drive innovation among partners and agencies to generate compelling, unique go-to-market plans for each program.
  • Maintain a high-level of industry expertise, including the evaluation of the trends of top new games and eSports leagues as well as relevant entertainment events/opportunities in order to identify opportunity areas for the brand both in the short and long term.
  • Work with the Director and VP to negotiate terms, timeline, and pricing on all emerging sports and entertainment partnerships.
  • Partner with advertising, communications, field marketing, restaurant experience and operations to implement programs in and out of restaurant.


  • Bachelor’s Degree; with preference in Marketing, Business, Sport Management, or Communications


  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience. Experience desired in at least one of the following areas: eSports partnerships, sports marketing, entertainment, sports partnerships, corporate partnerships strategy.


  • Passion for eSports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity culture
  • Experience with sports and entertainment partnerships and activations for brands.
  • Strong integrated marketing skills – ability to drive strategy development through creative concepting and on to event/program execution
  • An entrepreneurial attitude. Pro-active thinking. Ability to drive thoughtful dialog and roll with the punches.
  • Knack for delivering the Big Idea as part of a partnership/program.
  • Experience with brands in the food, alcohol, or restaurant space preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Availability to travel up to 25%
  • Relocation eligible
