General Purpose:

  • We are looking for a Creative Director to join our Marketing team and lead the overall creative direction for a rapidly growing, world leader of high-performance PC peripherals and components for gamers, enthusiasts and e-sports athletes.
  • The Creative Director is resposnible for setting the creative direction for all aspects of our go-to-market planning, as well as managing our global brand to ensure our brand reflects the dynamic nature of our gaming and enthusiast customers. Helping guide, develop and lead a global team of creatives as well as project managing multiple creative agencies, they will be able to conceptualize, plan and execute the creative strategy across multiple channels including web, digital marketing, print, retail, eCommerce, etc. The Creative Director should have a strong creative vision, and be able to take relatively complex or technical concepts, and make them relatable to a broader audience. This person should thrive in a fast past environment and comfortable with on-the-fly problem solving and working in coordination across various departmental teams.This is a great opportunity for the right person to have a big impact on the creative strategy for a rapidly growing global brand.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Lead a world-class global creative team of 10+ with a vision and structure that attracts top talent and meets the needs of a growing organization.
  • Lead and guide the creative process and related creative projects, including integrated cross-channel initiatives, print design, marketing campaigns, eCommerce, online advertising, digital marketing, retail, and tradeshow environments.
  • Manage multiple projects, concept, design, art direction, supervision of production and overall project management. Working closely with multidisciplinary, international project teams.
  • Lead and direct the creative agency & HQ teams in the production of all marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including cross functional marketing team (including remote team members) and outside agency partners to set the creative strategy to bring the brand to life across initiatives, channels and products.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market creative strategy for a variety of products in the computer hardware and gaming peripheral space from conception and ideation, to asset development and deployment.
  • Develop and manage the visual elements and consistency of our brands on all platforms and across all channels. Manage, monitor and improve the creative process from concept to completion.
  • Cultivate ownership of marketing initiatives and performance across the creative team through iteration, experimentation and subject matter expertise in products and/or channels.
  • Oversee deliverables, timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure the brand book is adopted, kept current and used to ensure a consistent application in all consumer facing assets.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Design, Journalism or related field; Master's or MBA preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience preferably with some experience in the technology industry or related agency experience
  • Excellent content strategy, copywriting and editorial skills
  • Well-versed at collaborating, gaining consensus and aligning marketers and non-marketers around a creative and content vision
  • Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • A creative thinker with solid knowledge of marketing both traditional and digital media
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of management
  • Experience across the entire content marketing process, from needs assessment through measurement
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and how to implement as part of marketing strategy
  • Innate understanding of brand voice in all content creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing, inspiring, motivating and leading a high-performing team
  • Experience with budget management and financial analysis
