General Purpose:

  • Define and implement Corsair Logistics Strategy for Worldwide Transportation and distribution activities.
  • Expert in global trade compliances & tariff mitigation.
  • Drive logistics costs and cycle time reduction in all countries.
  • Ensure logistics costs and key performance metrics are at the world class level.
  • Manage Freight partners relationship.
  • Ensure compliance to Customers regulations and procedures.
  • Lead, train and develop a world class team.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Define, measure and report logistics cost goals and metrics (OTS, consolidation, cost per unit, cost per kg).
  • Manage and optimize global transportation activities through continuous process improvement and exceptions management.
  • Develop and Enforce trade compliance rules within the company (SOX compliance, Incoterms).
  • Develop and implement cost reduction programs and initiatives that are measurable and actionable.
  • Implement and lead global RFQ to provide best in class costs and service level.
  • Manage Partner performance through QBR, metrics and reporting.
  • Accountable for customer and internal shipment freight cost and operations.
  • Collaborate with IT on maintaining and updating database -Freight validation, tracking, costing tool & others as required.
  • Lead, train and develop staff.
  • Demonstrate broad knowledge of the logistics, traffic and customs compliance functions including reverse logistics, B2B and B2C capabilities to support business objectives including customer routing guides.
  • Develop performance metrics, set goals for quality, cycle time, costs, on time shipment and delivery and ensure that goals are met.
  • Recommend cost savings measures and support contract negotiations on freight initiatives.
  • Organize and implement new logistics initiatives according to company objectives and strategies and provide support to all parties involved.
  • Frequently interact with individuals in administrative or executive positions within company and supplier organizations to obtain and provide information; consult on problems requiring judgment and tact.
  • Ensure that business process flows, and procedures are properly documented and adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance with Corsair Code of Ethics & Business Conduct Guidelines, Purchasing Policies & Procedures, and legal & ethical business practices as well as operating procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ year experience of customs compliance and transportation management.
  • Familiar with high tech products and worldwide Import and Export regulations.
  • Familiar with Etail and Retail high tech business and shipping guidelines.
  • Experienced Manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Oracle 12 knowledge is a plus and Microsoft office tools proficient.
