As a member of the Elo Hell Esports (EHE) team, the Tournament Manager is responsible for overseeing an unannounced tournament project, slated to begin in late 2019. Your main responsibilities will include designing and administering a compelling competition by drafting an engaging event program while coordinating a mix of volunteer and professional staff into one effective unit. We need someone who is a passionate self-starter, that is able to drive forward new ideas and effectively harness the resources that EHE provides to its in-house tournaments.


  • Lead and organize diverse in-house staff teams from Social Media and Graphics, to Production and Event Staff
    • Design promotional marketing material, press releases, and social media schedules
    • Handle any disputes or conflicts between staff and participants in a swift and professional manner
  • Produce professional and comprehensive event documentation, such as; event schedules, itineraries, staff operational guidelines, event application forms, rulebooks, brackets, and more
  • Act as the primary contact for participants, viewers, and sponsors
  • Define volunteer needs, and recruit to fill those needs as necessary
  • Perform outreach to prospective event participants to maintain high quality amateur and semi-professional Overwatch matches
  • Report progress and metrics to upper management on a regular basis
  • Maintain familiarity with the Amateur and Semipro Overwatch tournament spaces


  • Experience in helping to organize and design tournaments
  • Deep familiarity with the amateur and sempiro Overwatch scene
  • Adept in Discord Server management and other social media platforms
  • Proven leadership experience in team-based work environments
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and scheduling skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Drive Applications (Documents, Sheets, Forms, & Slides)
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities, confident in overseeing multiple separate projects at once
  • Superb interpersonal skills, being able to develop strong rapport with associates and business partners while demonstrating professionalism and dependability
  • Confidence and versatility in reacting to unknown or actively changing circumstances
