Epic Games is looking for an organized and self-motivated Associate Marketing Manager to join a new team driving the growth of Fortnite Creative. You’ll design and execute global marketing efforts that create awareness around Epic created game-design tools and player-made games. The ideal candidate can collaborate with many different teams simultaneously and create meaningful in-game and around-game content to excite and engage players and creators. This role reports into the Marketing Director of Fortnite Creative.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with Producers, Game Designers and Creative teams to capture the product vision and strategy in marketing campaigns and launch assets
  • Monitoring health of in-game KPIs, adjust plans and design new initiatives to support growth and foster breakout new content
  • Building long-term relationships with cross-functional teams, business and media partners, and marketing agencies
  • Author and present frequent reports and analysis of the game and business performance to various internal stakeholders
  • Planning and developing marketing materials such as social posts, newsletters, static assets, videos and blogs
  • Writing and editing copy for news and sales messaging, announcements, and creative assets
  • Assisting in developing the tone and voice of Fortnite in overall brand communications

Qualifications

  • Results-driven personality who is self-motivated and consistently delivers high quality work despite managing multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to own a budget and know how to make tough trade-offs to maximize the overall player experience
  • Capable of devising cutting-edge marketing strategies backed up by insightful market and player analysis
  • Strong understanding and working history of planning and implementing marketing campaigns
  • Outstanding writing, editing, organization and prioritization skills
  • Copy editing experience (preferred)
  • Experience with localization processes and driving initiatives internationally
  • Ability to adapt and solve problems calmly without losing focus of the original goals or objectives
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, advertising or a related discipline and solid experience with the gaming and/or entertainment industry (ideally with UGC, or F2P games as a service)
  • Passionate about games and the industry
