The Fortnite team is looking for a Vendor Management Producer; the candidate will work with the development team to ensure an understanding of all constraints on internal infrastructure, where outsourcing support is required as well as managing all vendors and the outsouricng process.


  • Working with team leads to understand, determine, and deliver on outsource needs for Fortnite.
  • Owning the process of finding, evaluating, and selecting outsource studios for Fortnite.
  • Scoping, negotiating, and setting objectives with external partners as well as managing contracts and invoice approval, timelines and delivery schedules
  • Leveraging your knowledge of vendors and pipelines to ensure productive partnerships and clear communication.
  • Working with the Fortnite Executives and Leads to develop and document milestones, targets, specifications, deliverables.
  • Accepting deliverables, reviewing for quality, accuracy, testing in engine, and providing feedback as required.
  • Organizing, tracking, and presenting deliverables for the team leads.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve workflow in the internal pipeline as it relates to outsourcing and correcting as needed.
  • Ongoing reviews with outsourcers and validating that their schedules are accurate and updated and they are hitting all of the milestones; maintain database of all vendors for content creation and additional projects.


  • Experience in project management on AAA game franchises or similar software development projects
  • 10+ years of operations and leadership experience with the ability to challenge and influence a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience working with and managing external partners
  • Ability to drive high velocity, high impact development cycles in an agile fashion, balancing out short-term needsand long-term vision
  • Self-starter who is able to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to effectively and quickly build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - able to work on complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
  • Ability to adapt and be effective in new situations with a highly dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and possesses strong emotional intelligence skills
  • Ability to develop and communicate the vision and achieve buy-in from large organizations with a creative culture
  • Experience using different development methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.)
