The opportunity for an ambitious and adept Business Development Manager to join a well-established organisation, working across an exciting and established global entity.

This is a newly established role for Esports Awards Ltd following an exciting period of growth transition for the company. The successful applicant will quickly establish themselves as the key member of the team in facilitating new business, supported by the MD.

The role requires someone who is confident in working independently and with the ability to support and take over a prospect through the sales cycle. It is critical the successful candidate can build and sustain long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Core sales initiatives will include: Partnership leads, table sales and other revenue generating activity for the Esports Awards. Holding critical relationships with external agencies and partners including IMG – our media rights agency. The candidate will control and report on all sales activity on a weekly basis.

Personal Specification

  • 3-5 years’ experience of sales experience
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is an advantage
  • A strong eye for opportunities and aptitude to close deals
  • Creative thinker with confidence to try new ideas and accept a challenge
  • Ability to work quickly from brief
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A people person with a good sense of humour
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Presentation and negotiation skills
  • Happy to travel
  • A passion for and a keen understanding of the gaming and esports worlds
