Job Description:

We are hiring a Director of Business Development (Gaming & eSports) to help us sell the best mobile and PC gaming platform in India that will run competitive eSports tournament for games like PUBG mobile.

You will:

  • Oversee the sales process to attract new clients e.g eSports Tournament Organizers,
  • Work with senior team members to identify and manage risks.
  • Maintain fruitful relationships with clients and address their needs effectively.
  • Research and identify new market opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver pitches to potential investors and gaming channel partners.
  • Develop esports community for games like PUBG mobile in India through digital marketing and social media
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives - online and offline events for PUBG mobile competition launches
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increase the value of current gamers, sponsors, game publishers while attracting new ones.
  • Locate and close business relationships and sponsorship deals from Red Bull, Paytm etc.
  • Develop strategies by studying integration of new partnership/venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals
  • Registering as a vendor with all endemic and non endemic brands
  • Gather intel and create contact lists for lans, local events and potential partnerships

What we are looking for:

  • 4 year of sales and Business Development experience
  • Prior experience in the gaming and esports industry
  • Extensive network covering gaming, esports, media and technology
  • Strategic planning and execution from start to finish
  • Plethora of contacts from the gaming, esports and entertainment industry.
  • Motivated to add value to the organization and partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
  • Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making.
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible to travel for deals
