FlyQuest is currently seeking a Videographer for a full-time position in West Los Angeles. This candidate will be responsible for assisting in all parts of the content creation process including ideation, preparation, equipment management, shooting, and editing.

Responsibilities

  • Produce Shotlist and Blocking documents for Pre-Production planning
  • Prepare appropriate camera, lens and accessory packages to meet desired creative result of video project
  • Edit complete, polished video content incorporating footage from multiple cameras, sources and game platforms
  • Determine necessary lighting approach and equipment for each production, advance notice of necessary rental equipment
  • Responsible for the capture and manipulation of in-game footage for use in montages, documentaries, and highlight videos
  • Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio tools, and other production equipment
  • Supports the team throughout the production process, which may include producing interview subjects, creating graphics, and
  • Organize and Manage our collection of digital media through use of platform specific software (Mac/Windows)
  • Facilitate the organization and status of equipment prior to and following every shoot - makes adjustments to existing gear and supplies reports for additional equipment purchases
  • Source music and non-video components for use in video projects
Requirements
  • Applicants MUST submit a Resume, Reel or Portfolio, and two links to recent works
  • 3 years of experience in production as a DP, Producer, Director or similar position
  • Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to audio and video equipment
  • Ability to effectively manage time and schedules
  • Maintain personal calendar of productions, deadlines, and corporate events
  • Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting and associated production equipment
  • Knowledge of computerized tape editing applications and procedures
  • Knowledge of professional audio and/or video tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards
