G2 Esports is looking for an experienced Senior Membership Program Manager to lead operation and further development of our internal Customer Data Platform from a marketing, business and technical perspective. This especially means the operation of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which includes a rich set of Business Intelligence (BI) tools. These CRM and BI systems will be the driving forces on the development and continuous implementation operation of our membership program.

The person we are looking for is experienced and can not only iterate our emerging Data Project and Membership Program, but guide and shape its future development, identifying areas and opportunities for us to gain deeper insight regarding our fans and provide greater value to both them and our partners. It is mandatory that you already have experience in building and driving membership or loyalty programs. The ideal candidate will also have several years experience working with enterprise grade software systems backed by huge databases, deriving insights from this information, and advising key stakeholders based upon this data to inform our decisions in all areas, including, but not limited to, Commercial and Marketing. Furthermore, you will have the knowledge and experience to implement this vision into CRM campaigns and our membership program, ensuring both maximum user acquisition and retention. Also, you will play a key role in helping fostering our community, ensuring the program becomes a must-have for fans of the G2 ARMY.

The role as Senior Membership Program Manager will be located in our HQ in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Help construct, manage and iterate our membership program and associated programs and applications.
  • Develop and implement a loyalty and CRM program, with a focus on maximising user acquisition and retention.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to incorporate the membership program throughout all user touchpoints, including Commercial, Marketing, and Events.
  • Work closely with our IT department to test, deploy, operate and continuously develop our new cloud-based Customer Data Platform.
  • Analyze generated data using traditional methodology, as well as AI-based algorithms.
  • Derive meaningful insights from our data points to inform stakeholders through all levels of the G2 Esports organisation.
  • Build reports on KPIs for our sponsors, partners and investors.

Requirements

  • Several years experience (5+) in a CRM, Business Intelligence, or Program Manager position with proven concrete results.
  • Master or Bachelor degree in business or related IT discipline preferred.
  • Proven work experience within enterprise level IT systems administration and management (preferably CRM or similar, i.e. ERP). Recommendations would be a plus.
  • Excellent skills, knowledge and creativity in data analysis (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI).
  • Ability to communicate, inform, and build relationships with internal stakeholders across all organisational departments and levels.
  • Excellent project management, leadership and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Proven ability to successfully translate Marketing strategies in the program.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English (German is strongly desired, but not required).
  • Knowledge of the Video Games Industry or Esports is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud is a plus.
