Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, Internet, media industries, early stage companies, or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a management, technical or engineering field.
  • Experience partnering with and advising executives. Experience with solving complex problems, utilizing tools such as Salesforce, spreadsheet software, and SQL.
  • Experience driving operational processes for complex teams. Passion for gaming and/or experience working in the games industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit high personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Demonstrated analytical and modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to write, facilitate and present analyses.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Stadia New Business Development team focuses on partnerships to enable, distribute and scale our service. Our team partners closely with OEMs, carriers, ISPs and middleware technology makers to enable the next generation of game experiences on Google platforms. We work closely with product, engineering and finance counterparts to identify partnerships that deliver against our core business objectives, while also providing feedback on product strategy. We spot opportunities, evaluate inbound inquiries, build partnerships, collaborate with many internal functional groups globally, and consult on business agreements. In this role, you'll develop and execute on our global partnership strategy to enable Stadia’s long-term success. As a member of the Stadia New Business Development Strategy and Operations team, you'll have an opportunity to work directly with executive leaders on a range of critical strategy and operational projects.

We are working on custom built hardware and rapidly evolving open source technology to deliver a seamless gaming experience across multiple devices. Stadia provides players new ways to discover, engage, and connect with content with no download required thanks to our cutting-edge data centers. Responsibilities

  • Lead agreement analysis and modeling to support key partnership strategies.
  • Define, structure, and execute strategic and operational initiatives, including developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, developing final recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
  • Partner with the Stadia Business Development teams and different product area teams to deliver thought leadership and strategic guidance on specific topics.
  • Manage core operations for the BD team, which may include annual planning, OKRs, ongoing reporting, executive updates, and headcount tracking.
  • Structure and package work into compelling presentations and communications to inform executive decision making.
