Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a partner-facing role within technology or gaming.
  • 2 years of strategy/business development experience at a management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity, hedge fund, and/or media/entertainment/technology company.
  • 2 years of experience in channel distribution. Experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in media/entertainment.
  • Experience with CRM tools.
  • Experience writing, facilitating, and presenting analyses.
  • Experience in highly-demanding environments.
  • Knowledge of streaming consumer products (e.g., YouTube) or OEMs.
  • Excellent aptitude and passion for complex problem-solving with spreadsheet software. Excellent data-driven decision making.

Stadia is a new generation gaming platform from Google for playing video games across any screen. Stadia allows gamers to instantly game where they want, when they want, and allows developers to unlock a new level of creativity by building on the power of the data center. As the Stadia Platform Partnerships Planning Lead, you will be responsible for creating the plan to reach 1 billion devices.

The Stadia Product Partnerships team develops strategic insights, effective internal/external partner relationships and drives programs to further Stadia’s global OEM integration efforts. We're a highly visible team across the product area and leadership, who depend heavily on the relationship insights, program management, partner performance, and insights to drive business results related to content partners. As the Head of Platform Product Partnerships and OEM Planning, you will be an integral member of the team helping drive product strategy priorities, device partnerships and overall partner performance across the full surface of our portfolio of third-party hardware integrations. In this role, yo'll drive integration and alignment between all related functions and serve as the driving force behind how we use data to ensure faster, better decisions on scaling device growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities, build business cases and define strategy and vision for Stadia OEM integrations across a variety of cross-PA collaborations (e.g., Android, ChromeOS, Hardware Sales). Build and scale an Stadia accessories program, extending Stadia collaboration with middleware and gaming engine providers.
  • Build trusted, strategic relationships with device partners and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges. Understand opportunities for growth and recommend strategies for new partnerships.
  • Manage scaled growth and marketing initiatives. Assist with partners' business goals by proposing optimal and creative solutions.
  • Manage distribution business planning globally, working cross-functionally to assess full resourcing needs to deliver product integrations with OEMs.
  • Manage, forecast, and regularly report and deliver insights on Business Development agreements to scale distribution strategy, and work through Salesforce CRM.
