Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing creative campaigns experience reviewing creative, directing agency partners, developing toolkits and executing brand marketing tactics.
  • Experience working with regional teams and cross functional partners/stakeholders. Ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of cross-functional partners and proven ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Experience launching and growing new brands and experience drawing insights from market research to inform strategy.
  • Passion for gaming and/or experience working in the games industry.
  • Understanding of content and event marketing with experience launching features or activating messages at events.

From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Gaming is an important vertical at Google spanning from Stadia, Play, YouTube, Cloud to Ads. This year, we developed a one Google narrative for the gaming vertical and launched a cross-PA Google for Games umbrella initiative encompassing marketers from Stadia, Cloud, Play, Ads, and YouTube and more.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll develop our Google gaming brand experience strategy and serve as a driver for activating our unified narrative at key moments globally. This will involve working across Google product areas to tell the story of a unified Google for Games at tentpole events and working with a cross-functional team across product managers, sales, communications, public relations, legal, and more. You'll also help game developers navigate the breadth of product solutions Google offers to help them grow their business by activating our narrative at key industry events.
