Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience working with data (e.g., gathering, reading, synthesizing, reporting). Experience querying databases, SQL, and data visualization.
  • Experience with marketing budget responsibilities and ROAS/ROI/LTV models.
  • Understanding of the gaming landscape. Understanding of cultural marketing trends in creative media, digital, and social.
  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality standards. Excellent attention to detail, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for gaming and continuous testing and experimentation.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will leverage experience supporting successful campaigns for consumer-facing brands and excellent quantitative skills to collaborate with Research, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Analytics teams in driving performance marketing decisions and execution and optimizing conversion and communication funnels. You will also maintain a positive attitude and consider all possibilities in a calm and objective manner. In this role, you will map out the optimal lifecycle marketing touch points, both in-product and cross-google, to effectively keep users engaged and delighted with the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Create integrated retention marketing campaigns to drive engagement and growth and delight our players. Execute the campaign across multiple channels and map out consumer touch points to run A/B tests and improve their experience.
  • Build dashboards and collaborate with Business Operations (BizOps) to measure and report on the impact of ongoing campaigns and one-off tests.
  • Make recommendations to leads that help redefine how to think about engagement. Ability to focus on execution maintaining the big picture under perspective and represent marketing in discussions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, collaborate with multiple business owners and external partners, and work well in a high-pressure environment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and partners including: Product Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Media Agencies, Product, Go-To-Market (GTM), Business Development, UX, and PR.
