Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of business development or partnerships experience.
  • Experience negotiating agreements from initiating contact to negotiating a fully executed agreement.
  • Experience in negotiating/managing partnerships with mobile carriers and OEMs.
  • Experience with software licenses, ISPs and consumer hardware OEMs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA and/or technical background.
  • Experience with gaming products and partnerships.
  • Proven track record as a strategic thought-leader at a large global tech company in business development, partnerships, product management, general management or sales.
  • Ability to understand, navigate, coordinate and drive consensus amongst multiple business units for external partnerships.

Stadia New Business Development focuses on partnerships to enable, distribute and scale our service. Our team partners closely with many of the world’s biggest original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), carriers, internet service providers (ISPs) and middleware technology makers to enable the next generation of game experiences on Google platforms.

The New Business Development Team is responsible for driving Stadia’s strategic partnerships and third-party initiatives. We are looking for a talented individual to lead this team and develop and execute on our global partnership strategy to enable Stadia’s long-term success.

The Hardware Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers and resellers worldwide. This includes the partnerships for products such as Pixel, Daydream View, Google Wifi, Google Nest Thermostat, Chromecast Ultra and Google Home.


  • Lead strategy and execution of product-enabling partnerships to fuel Stadia, including identifying new opportunities where partnerships can help accelerate product growth.
  • Manage ongoing implementations and relationships and provide feedback from partners and market intelligence to Google’s Product teams with the aim of influencing product plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Finance, Marketing, PR/Comms).
