Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, commercial partnerships and deal structuring, negotiation, and execution.
  • Analytical experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field.
  • 6 years of relevant work experience (consulting; investment banking; software, Internet and/or media industries; and/or early stage companies).
  • Experience in structuring and negotiating complex multifaceted deals with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in commercializing subscription services and partnering with carriers/ISP to structure product bundles.
  • Experience partnering with and advising senior-level executives.
  • Strong presentation building skills.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

Identify, structure and negotiate strategic agreements with ISPs, Mobile Carriers, OMEs, accessory manufactures, and infrastructure and technology providers to help Stadia scale, continuously improve the product performance and reduce costs.

Stadia is Google’s premier Video Game platform, designed for everyone. We are working on custom built hardware and rapidly evolving open source technology to deliver a seamless gaming experience across multiple devices. Stadia provides players new ways to discover, engage, and connect with content with no download required thanks to our cutting-edge data centers.   • Identify partnership opportunities and work with the Stadia New Business Development strategy and Product teams to define strategy and build business cases for the identified opportunities.
  • Define, structure, and negotiate agreements with partners aiming to enable channel distribution, improve platform/product functionality and optimize P&L.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with other key Product Areas that interface with selected partners.
  • Partner with the Stadia Strategy and Product teams, as well as cross-Product Area teams to execute multifaceted agreements and represent the Stadia product interests
