About GRID esports:

At GRID esports we are building a data-ecosystem specifically designed for the esports industry. The GRID platform is designed to allow games publishers, teams and leagues to leverage official data assets through both B2B and fan-facing channels and does so through the use of specialized technological approaches to building real-time esports data processing systems.

GRID is looking to hire a student developer that works within the statistics-creation team of GRID. The responsibility of the team is to transform raw data from esports games into statistics that provide value for fans and the partners of GRID. During this process the team is working with internal and external developed API’s and databases.


  • You are a student studying computer science/ engineering/ mathematics/ economics or something similar
  • You have experience developing in python
  • You are motivated to learn
  • You can work independently on an assigned project
  • You have strong problem-solving skills

It is advantageous if you:

  • Have experience with the python library Pandas
  • Have experience working in SQL
  • Can use other programming languages like GO and VBA
  • Are interested and knowledgeable in esports such as CSGO, Dota, PUBG and League of Legends
  • Have experience working with statistical models and other types of data analysis
  • You are in Berlin. Working remotely is an option if other qualifications are met and surpassed

Working hours

It is expected that you can work around 20 hours per week. We are flexible, the exact dates and times will be based on your availability.
