Integrated Marketing Managers are the strategy experts of IGN. We put the pieces together (content alignment, content marketing, social media, events, native advertising, ad products and more) to pitch IGN as the perfect partner to reach males 18-34 interested in fan culture (video games, movies, TV shows, streaming content, toys, collectibles, anime, manga and more). Integrated Marketing Managers support both reactive RFP responses and proactive upfront discussions. We are the experts of all things IGN and fan culture. We consume IGN content and all things IGN covers. This allows the Integrated Marketing team to be the connective tissue between IGN departments as we facilitate communication, approvals and execution of first-to-market, never been done, big ideas.

What does that mean exactly?

  • You are responsible for supporting the Consumer, Entertainment and Games Sales Teams with RFP responses and proactive pitches for advertising opportunities across IGN Entertainment. You will have a focus on Games and Entertainment RFPs.
  • You will review client RFPs and conduct independent research to recommend best-in-class tactics that leverage IGN content, products and ad products to deliver against client KPI’s.
  • You understand metrics and are able to scope and price the ideas which you are recommending, which includes custom video.
  • You will deliver campaign outlines that clearly and succinctly explain package details which include: custom integrations, flight, impressions, pricing and production timelines.
  • You will ensure all pitched ad campaigns are approved by internal partners including Branded Entertainment, Editorial, Video, Social, Product, Engineering, Design + Creative and Ad Ops.

  • You've worked in digital advertising, integrated marketing, sales development or marketing communications.
  • You are familiar with esports games, leagues and teams. This includes knowing who are popular and burgeoning content streamers.
  • You are familiar with scoping and pricing custom video. You understand the difference between reach and engagement, views and impressions, ROI and KPI.
  • You are a critical thinker who naturally analyzes information and uncovers insights.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You are able to write marketing copy in a range voices.
  • You are a driven, passionate self-starter who is able to execute and deliver high caliber work with minimal supervision.
  • You are a Powerpoint pro.
  • You play well with others and are a fan culture enthusiast.
