The Content Specialist will craft a variety of content strategy, emphasizing YouTube video series (new and recurring), HyperX Esports Arena activations, and general content initiatives aligning with AAA gaming releases.

Responsibility will also include creating a master calendar to track content series, events and launch windows, work closely with both Influencer Marketing, Esports Marketing and Strategic Alliances to integrate talent and corporate partnerships into events and activations; create postmortem decks on all content activity to measure success and refine approach. Push HyperX into new cultural spheres while still honoring its rich legacy in the gaming space.

Essential Functions:

  • Establish a robust content strategy for HyperX, emphasizing video, event activation, and relevant game launches.
  • Create a master calendar to track content series, events, and game launch windows.
  • Craft new YouTube content series around the intersection of gaming and pop culture.
  • Establish metrics to measure and refine video content performance.
  • Work closely with HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas to ideate live content, executing premiere shows on a monthly basis.
  • Find ways to blend and amplify HyperX’s diverse roster of talent, from Esports champions to sports all-stars to best-selling musicians.
  • Help to forge the new HyperX brand identity as an aspirational gaming lifestyle brand.
  • Collaborate with various marketing disciplines to ensure content rollout meets the needs and goals of the HyperX team.
  • Provide event support as needed.


  • One to two years of Content Marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • In depth knowledge of major content / streaming sites, primarily Twitch and YouTube.
  • Knowledge of fields outside gaming, including sports, music, technology, fashion, is strongly desired.
  • Passion for what is new and what is next in gaming and pop culture.
  • Ability to multitask, and track / prioritize multiple moving targets at once.
  • Ability to monitor Twitch and YouTube without becoming passive or entering spectator mode.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts clearly in conversation, as well as via Skype, email, and calls with clients.
  • Ability to analyze content and activation results with an eye on refining future approaches.
  • Ability to accommodate and interact with multiple marketing disciplines.
  • Must be available for occasional business travel.
