We are seeking a Cost Analyst with a background in manufacturing operations, that includes cost and inventory analyses, to apply accounting principles and procedures in capturing and analyzing financial information. In addition to the following Essential Functions, other related financial work may be required.

Essential Functions:

  • Review and monitor OEM customers’ monthly inventory count.
  • Work closely with Warehouse, Operations and Sales teams to analyze inventory count and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Account for all sales rebate adjustments for the different OEM businesses, as well as update monthly pricing details to OEM customers.
  • Track and analyze Contract Manufacturing cost and margin, guide and support Planners with any finance questions.
  • Prepare OEM’s related journal entries and participate in the month end close
  • Prepare monthly OEM related financial and customer profitability reports.
  • Assist in the annual inventory count and financial audit.
  • Assist the OEM team with various accounting and reporting projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent business degrees.
  • Three to five years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with global operations.
  • Experience of cycle count, cost variance analysis, month/year end close, internal controls, year-end audit, business analysis & process improvements.
  • Experience dealing with production issues and capturing production cost
  • Strong Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create Advanced Excel formulas, as well as develop complex data extraction tools. Strong utilization of Pivot tables and Pivot charts.
  • JDE, Insight/Hubble, and IBM Cognos experience a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-player and self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision, while managing and prioritizing conflicting deadlines.
