Leads the gaming/esports community strategy, campaign execution, and network development for HyperX brand. The ideal candidate has a strong familiarity with the Esports landscape specifically in gaming community and an understanding of how brands leverage Esports team & tournament to support their overall marketing objectives.


Esports Teams Management

  • Serve as the point-person for all HyperX Esports activities.
  • Manage all signed HyperX Esports teams across entire APAC region.
  • Interact with teams in the industry in order to build a local Esports eco-system and maximize the impact of the community.
  • Branding Knowledge sharing with Esports community for branding involvement.
  • Manage Esports program to maximize participation and retention.
  • Keep Esports teams regularly informed about key product and marketing beats.
  • Working with team managers to ensure contract obligation are met to maximize marketing value.
  • Track and promote player/team achievements, tournament participation.
  • Follow up with teams on providing monthly reporting and ensuring monthly goals are met.

Esports Event & Tournament Management

  • Set up strategic partnerships to ensure the presence and visibility of the brand in Esports and gaming.
  • Ensure all deliverables have been met.
  • Prepare all products for all sponsored tournaments accordingly.
  • Coordinate with event organizer for tournament format and schedule.
  • Proper execution of HyperX branding at event and related promotional vehicles such as website, in stream and on-site.
  • Track and coordinate with HyperX sponsored team participating in the event to maximize our coverage and content.

Game Publisher Partnership Management

  • Manage relationships within Esports-related organizations and cultivate new relationships.
  • Execute long-term, strategic partnerships with Esports leagues, endemic and mainstream media companies and technology innovation partners.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across brand, media and marketing organizations to integrate Esports program elements.
  • Manage APAC Esports and Event & tournament marketing budget.


Performs other work-related duties as assigned.


  • 5+ years of computer industry experience in marketing.
  • Experience in Esports and Gaming.
  • Good technical understanding of PC and associated technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply critical and strategic thinking.
  • Experience in the gaming and technology industries.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English. Other APAC local language skill is a plus.
