The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Central & South Europe, the selected candidate will be responsible to manage all commercial aspects of Logitech G and ASTRO products to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

The Category Manager has the primary focus of planning marketing & sales activities, aligning those with country lead (based on commercial and analytical insight) and driving execution with Consumer Marketing Managers and Account Manager in the countries

  • Be accountable for the performance of products in Gaming categories, achieving the revenue & profitability targets and strategic objectives
  • Use market insights from country organization to translate global and regional Promo & Marketing strategies into effective marketing campaigns and activities that will inspire and engage consumers and shoppers with focus on digital channels
  • Partner with EAMEA category organization and act as single point of contact
  • Manage & integrate key partnerships (eSports teams, game publishers, events) to amplify the Logitech marketing messages
  • Align strategies, campaigns, execution and performance KPIs with country lead & country teams
  • Manage the planning, marketing investments and execution of activities in countries, channels and customers
  • Lead NPI launches for key products in Central & South Europe
  • Drive implementation & execution of campaigns with marketing manager & country teams
  • Act as business partner for all commercial aspects of the Gaming categories for the Head of Central & South Europe and the country leads, esp. for market performance analysis (GFK), strategy development & presentation, identification of new opportunities and business performance
  • Drive cross country collaboration, share best practice and modify successful activities for execution in other countries, channels or customers
  • Drive efficient distribution models: Proactively support and challenge country leads to leverage selective distribution models and develop their set of customers for Gaming categories
  • Proactively support and challenge Account Managers for key partners in the development of their portfolio, ranges and space allocations
  • Define, manage and control investments for partners, control the relevant ROI (return on investment) and success parameters
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct regular on-site meetings with customers and country teams (~30-40% travel)
  • Be a brand ambassador for Logitech G & Astro

Your Skills:

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Extensive experience in category management or broader marketing background with a track record at A brands in Gaming industry (software or hardware), sales experience welcome
  • Possess a deep understanding of the relevant markets in Central & South Europe countries and sales channels
  • Proficiency to drive online marketing with in cooperation with partners
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Analytic, structured, highly driven and solution oriented person
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to build strategic relationships
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Knowledge across a range of marketing tools
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to drive and coordinate projects
