The Account Manager is an essential member of our commercial team and is responsible for growing our existing client base. This role is based at our Amsterdam office and requires occasional travel. As Account Manager, you are an integral part of our growing client team and you will make a direct impact on Newzoo’s future. You will work closely together with the Client Success team in identifying up- and cross-sell opportunities. You will also introduce Newzoo’s services to other departments within our current global client base. Our ideal Account Manager is an energetic customer-facing professional with proven expertise in market research/consultancy, especially in turning opportunities into deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will spot and develop new revenue opportunities within our current accounts.
  • You will introduce Newzoo’s services to new departments within our client base, but also present trend sessions to existing users.
  • Together with the Client Success team, you will grow Newzoo’s current client base.
  • You will regularly work with other teams (client success, product development, data analysis and marketing) to optimize performance.

Your Profile

You have experience in sales/client success/account management role in SaaS B2B services, preferably related to market intelligence or analytics. Equally important is your passion for the markets in which we are experts: games, esports, media, and tech, and the disruptive trends that impact them.

  • 2-4 years’ work experience in sales driven role such as account management, sales role or enterprise sales role mainly focussed on account expansion.
  • BA degree in Economics, Market Research, Business Administration, or similar;
  • A solid understanding of data analysis and market research methods;
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills in English;
  • A positive, goal-oriented, self-motivated, independent thinker.
  • A proven ability to exceed expectations or targets.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Coach-ability, openness to feedback, and dedication to consistent self-improvement.
