We are looking for an experienced community manager and marketer to help us realize the exciting future of hardware and PC gaming – specifically to develop, monitor, and grow the NVIDIA GeForce community of PC Gamers, hardware, and technology enthusiasts.

The Community Manager would identify and focus on building a positive relationship with community leaders and GeForce gamers, operating an engagement program, and driving a feedback loop between NVIDIA marketing and engineering. Including fan programs that build the NVIDIA brand by fostering stronger relationships with a passionate base.

This role is a crucial member of NVIDIA Global Marketing team, the Community Manager is responsible for crafting and rolling out programs and initiatives that will stretch across our digital channels, forums, and physical events, places, and spaces that gamers gather.

You will act as a global champion whose goal is to reward, inform, delight and surprise our fans in ways that make NVIDIA the preferred platform for PC gamers. In this role, you’ll work closely with the social media teams, product and content marketing teams, regional marketing leaders, local community leaders, external customers, partners, and executives.

The successful candidate will have a real passion for building community and a keen interest in the hardware, PC gaming space. You must be a highly driven and experienced professional with a track record of developing creative community programs for new and established consumer brands. You will drive regional leads across the globe to adopt and implement creative community programs and bring them to scale.

What you will be doing:

  • Identify and engage the PC games and Hardware community.
  • Operate a GeForce engagement and advocacy program for gamers.
  • Optimize contests and giveaways to excite and drive channel growth
  • Develop, plan and execute programs for hardware enthusiasts and gamers w/close strategic ties to product roadmaps, event calendars, and marketing campaigns.
  • Define program objectives, target audiences, strategies/tactics, deliverables, timeline, and measurement; secure executive and regional support for community plans.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including the social media team, PR, product marketing, content marketing, and customer care teams to execute innovative plans.
  • Manage conversation, queries, and insights that come through owned and earned community channels and work with internal teams to create solutions.
  • Drive regular communications to executives and management that show progress in your community.
  • Stay up to date on the latest hardware, technology, and gaming trends, tools and community management methodologies; implement process and practices to deliver an exemplary experience for our team

What we need to see:

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing management and community experience
  • In-depth knowledge of PC hardware and GPU technology.
  • PC Gamer with a passion for community.
  • Experience operating local advocacy programs, building structure, strategy and executing successfully.
  • Consistent track record of creating engaging, innovative marketing content
  • Finger on the pulse of internet culture, places, and spaces; including Reddit, Instagram, Twitter, and popular gaming and hardware sites.
  • Strong project/people management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects at a time and self-prioritize workload
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet daring time schedules
  • Confirmed ability to work collaboratively and influence diverse groups within marketing, including cross-functional peers to executive management
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • MBA preferred, Undergraduate degree required
