As the Director, Digital Platform Ops you will be a member of NVIDIA’s Digital Marketing team. You will drive the delivery of global web initiatives and operations to ensure timely and creative execution of quality digital experiences, product launches on the web, and digital marketing campaigns to our websites around the world. You use agile methodologies to drive, prioritize and execute on back end and front-end development, database, and QA resources to improve customer experiences for both our consumer (GeForce.com) and enterprise businesses (NVIDIA.com). You are comfortable leading the overall platform, managing the core marketing tech stack and the core data management platform. You are able to work under a minimal amount of supervision and act as a problem solver. You are a leader who knows how to work, think and learn as a team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide leadership on web technology, underlying data infrastructure, and priorities to build capabilities in ecommerce, personalization, and new digital experiences.
  • Leading website operations and infrastructure (Adobe Experience Cloud suite, ecommerce platform, customer management system) to scale fast, increase capabilities to meet business needs, and ensure stability and quality of the platform.
  • Collaborating and work closely with the Digital Planning team on user personas/journey mapping to improve experience and engagement on our websites.
  • Supporting digital marketing objectives to integrate global platform to digital marketing campaigns and performance metrics
  • Working closely with internal clients to provide top-notch customer service, set expectations on delivery, and troubleshoot technical gaps into proactive action plans.

What we need to see:

  • Direct experience in a web, Java, RDBMS development environments
  • Prefer deep experience in the Adobe Experience Cloud platform (ideally AEM), with proven record of delivering global deployments and ongoing operations
  • Experience with applying test automation, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment to achieve built-in quality by the teams
  • Expert at other agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc
  • Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • 12+ years website operations experience (high tech industry or gaming preferred)
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • 10+ years of experience managing and leading large teams
  • Relentless attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with people at all levels
  • Team oriented; comfortable in a matrix organization, and ability to work autonomously
  • BS/BA required
