PUBG Corporation is looking for a community manager who will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized public communication and player engagement by leading community projects and communication efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with PUBG Seoul community leader and align with global strategy. Directly report to Seoul office community leader as well as to head of Santa Monica office
  • Develop and manage communication strategy/community platforms in North America
  • Create and manage community publishing (communication and content on owned media and social media) with high level of quality and timeliness
  • Manage and analyze performance/progression of official communication platforms
  • Plan and execute community projects, including online/offline events/promotions
  • Develop innovative plans, programs and strategies to increase the reach of communication and community engagement
  • Collaborate with partners (fan-sites, influencer and other relevant parties) to promote our communication efforts
  • Collaborate with PUBG Seoul teams and Santa Monica teams to develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans
  • Provide editorial guidance and coaching to other community team members
  • Analyze and report impact/result of communication and community promotion
  • Generate meaningful/constructive reports on community sentiment and reactions
  • Build strong relationships within the team - the relevant teams in the office and in PUBG Seoul - and across the industry
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in community, social media, public relations (PR) or another public communication-related field
  • Being a passionate gamer and having a strong understanding/experience in shooters and esports
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and game/entertainment community
  • Exceptional writing skills and practical experience in writing/editing of articles/posts
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with external partners
  • Good analytical and reporting skills, being detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and having the ability to develop new initiatives as well as managing multiple tasks with little supervision
  • Able to travel as required both globally and domestically
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Pluses

  • Love playing PUBG
  • Fluency in Korean
  • Previous experience in game/entertainment/eSports industry
  • Previous experience in online/viral/digital marketing or content related business
  • Knowledge of and/or network with current game community/influencers
  • Video/Image content design/editing skills
