The Santa Monica office is seeking a full-time LATAM Community Manager who will play a critical role in player communication, player engagement, and advocacy. The ideal candidate for this role is a native Spanish speaking professional who has previous experience managing LATAM player communities. You should be ready to think outside of the box and create new programs, content, and communication that specifically address the needs of the LATAM Spanish speaking PUBG community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop service operation policies for players and partners about the use of game service, forums, and other community activities of PUBG
  • Develop and manage communication strategy/community platforms for players and player communities
  • Manage and analyze performance/progression of official communication platforms
  • Create and manage community publishing (communication and content on owned media and social media) with high level of quality and timeliness driving more hype and viral
  • Develop innovative plans, programs and strategies to increase the reach of communication and community engagement and facilitate community activities
  • Generate meaningful/constructive reports on community sentiment and reactions and give feedback to the community through collaborations with development teams and other publishing teams
  • Establish the community advocacy and engagement process and actively communicate with development to increase player retention
  • Advocate players’ voice throughout the frequent engagement with players
  • Plan and execute community projects, including online/offline events/promotions
  • Collaborate with partners (fan-sites, influencer and other relevant parties) to promote our communication efforts
  • Analyze and report impact/result of communication and community promotion
  • Build strong relationships within the team - the relevant teams in the office and in other PUBG regional offices - and across the industry
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Native LATAM Spanish
  • Enthusiastic PUBG player
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in video game community management, social media, and public relations(PR) or another public communication-related field
  • Being a passionate gamer and having a strong understanding/experience in shooters and esports
  • Strong understanding of current game/entertainment community and social media trends
  • Exceptional writing skills and practical experience in writing/editing of articles/posts
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external partners
  • Good analytical and reporting skills, being detail-oriented
  • Great project management skills and expertise in handling multiple projects at the same time
  • Self-motivated and having the ability to develop new initiatives as well as managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Able to travel as required both globally and domestically
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Office services

Pluses

  • Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and/or Korean
  • Previous experience in online/viral/digital marketing or content related business
  • Knowledge of and/or network with current game community/influencers
  • Video/Image content design/editing skills
