This position reports to the Vice President, Finance


Track and manage the financial status of the company by developing, implementing, and managing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information and manage and coordinate office operations and activities.

More specifically, the Junior Accounting Manager will:

  • Manage all accounts payable functions including but not limited to:
    • Entering invoices into general ledger
    • Review for proper approval (including relieve PO)
    • Process payment
    • Review aging on a weekly basis and investigate
    • Process all employee expense reports
    • Maintain vendor invoice files
    • Maintain tax documents for independent contractors
    • Prepare and/or maintain tax documents including:
    • 1099’s
    • Sales tax returns
    • Fixed asset returns
    • Foreign contractors
    • Prepare monthly accounts for:
    • AP clearing
    • Employee Travel Advances & Reports
    • Process petty cash
  • Manage all accounts receivable functions including but not limited to:
    • Client invoicing
    • Tracking invoices and send past due notices when applicable
    • Processing customer payments
    • Updating, distributing and processing royalty reports
  • Perform Monthly Accounting Books Close for THX LTD, including:
    • Reconciling the monthly bank statement
    • General Journal Entries and Adjusting Journal Entries
    • Accounts Reconciliation
    • Assisting Head of Finance with the review of monthly budget to actual and provide variance input
  • Assist Head of Finance with Payroll
  • Responsible for office management duties, including but not limited to acting as liaison to building management, ordering and maintaining office supplies and inventory, etc.
  • Assist Head of Finance to forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must have the following:

  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting
  • Attention to Detail


Associates degree or equivalent work experience


The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong problem solving, planning, quality control, adaptability and customer service skills
  • Detailed oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet necessary deadlines with limited supervision

  • The performance of this position may occasionally require nominal travel within the THX organization or to other organizations, less than 5%.

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 10 pounds on occasion. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
