Riot Games was founded in 2006 by Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill with the intent to change the way video games are made and supported for players. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to worldwide acclaim. The game has since gone on to become the most played PC game in the world and a key driver of the explosive growth of esports. Players are the foundation of our community and it’s for them we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience. Riot Games is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA and has 23 offices worldwide.

As Event Production Coordinator, you'll be an advocate for central esports events, looking out for the best interests of our events and helping make them as efficient and successful as possible. Your collaborative mindset will help to bridge communication between Riot teams to ensure everyone is on the same page at our roadshows. You'll summon your most powerful multitasking skills at home and on the road, where you'll be responsible for assisting the Event Manager with year round planning and logistics, including but not limited to staffing list management, travel arrangements and coordination, and catering other responsibilities while simultaneously chasing down anything else that might be missing.

You are:

  • A clear communicator: you convey your thoughts with ease and clarity, whether you're writing an email, giving a presentation, or chatting about the amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant you discovered last night
  • A true problem solver: you take pride in your work, and view each new problem as an opportunity for success; you approach challenges methodically, sparking discussions as you work towards prioritizing and ideating possible solutions
  • A scheduling savant: you're a maniacal multitasker, managing time so effectively some think you have a double; you're able to schedule yourself, casters, external vendors, and everything in between
  • Adaptable: you recognize that situations change and complications arise, and you're ok with that; you're coolly flexible and able to handle whatever comes your way, moving seamlessly from one administrative scenario to the next
  • A high-pressure performer: you thrive when the clock is ticking, delivering high-quality results in high-stress situations
  • A self-starter: you can identify the holes in an operation and take timely action to deliver solutions with limited direction
  • Detail oriented organizer: nothing gets past you and your eye for detail as you navigate each stage of production with a plan for success

You will:

  • Manage Rioters, Pro teams, Press, Features logistics needs
    • Hotel
    • Food & Beverage
    • Ground transportation
  • Drive Purchase Orders from beginning to end
  • Credentials
  • FOH/Activations
