Rogers & Cowan seeks an Account Director to manage multiple programs and execution for our financial service client’s gaming and esports partnerships. The position will be responsible for the overall planning/execution of the partnership elements on a national level. This person will also have various day-to-day program management and client/agency integration responsibilities. A strong passion for and knowledge in gaming and the esports industry background are required. Additional background in other entertainment facets including music and film knowledge are a tremendous plus.

The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and within a multi-agency team setting, while supporting the brand focused initiatives and event activation. The AD must be a strong project manager who is thoroughly organized and detail-oriented. This position typically requires solid client management background, communication skills, attention to detail, experience in developing strategic recommendations, and event management/hospitality experience. Additionally, ADs must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Lead plan development and agency execution of activities and programming related to client’s US esports sponsorship properties including (but not limited to):
    • Plan development and facilitate integration of US Esports marketing initiatives with regional / local client and agency teams
    • Client presentation development
    • Create and manage cross-channel B-to-C programs and promotions
    • Coordinate B-to-B hospitality events and programs
    • Assist with asset management, ticket allocation and audit oversight
    • Liaison for approvals across creative/branding, PR , off line media, social media
    • Manage program recaps
  • Build and manage relationships with gaming and esports properties on behalf of clients
  • Lead the event marketing management and execution (Project plans, Budget management, Timelines)
  • Prepare written POV’s on all relevant client sponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Monitor and research competitive activity for existing clients and produce report of findings
  • Assist account leads in supporting day to day needs for Financial Services client
  • Lead the development of regions tiered marketing activation plans, strategies, budgets and deliverables
  • Manage planning and execution of custom Marketing programs
  • Serve as liaison for approvals across creative/branding, PR, digital and social media, and media partner promotions
  • Development and management of specific materials related to individual events, including but not limited to management of accompanying digital platforms and all activation elements
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external partners as well as outside vendors and properties
  • Lead and manage team of Account Managers and Account Executives
  • Provide consultative support for evaluation of new property opportunities
  • Create and manage program budgets, billing, and timelines



  • A passion for gaming – this isn’t just a job for you
  • Relevant experience in gaming and/or esports - Entertainment Marketing a tremendous plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 7-10 years agency/client service experience in partnerships – some time in gaming industry a requirement
  • Experience in implementing marketing plans and events
  • Experience with on-site management and execution
  • Experience in document writing including status reports, recaps, industry/competitive analysis
  • Capacity to become day to day client contact
  • Able and comfortable to operate within a dynamic working environment across different time zones as well client’s office
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of personality types
  • Excellent communications skills – both written and verbal. A writing and PowerPoint assignment will be part of the hiring process
  • Some budget management and/or reconciliation experience
  • Ability to manage relationships with key partners (e.g. venues, vendors, suppliers, etc.)
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent computer skills, master of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability and flexibility to travel and weekend/holiday work as needed
