Job Overview:

The Business Development Director is a newly created role reporting to the VP of Strategic Partnerships. You will be responsible for cultivating, managing and growing our most critical partnerships with large scale platform providers. You are a person who is exceptionally skilled at building personal relationships, navigating complex organizations and understanding the dynamics of working with the largest companies in the world. You are also able to work both internally and externally to craft a shared vision and execute a roadmap to achieve the plan. You are thoughtful, personable and willing to do what it takes to successfully execute a partnership.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify and execute new potential platform partnerships
  • Navigate complex deal structures and model value based on shared assumptions
  • Develop strong and stable relationships with existing platform partners including a regular cadence for discussions of performance and new opportunities
  • Navigate partner organizations and forge new relationships to identify additional collaboration and partnerships opportunities
  • Be the internal expert on your industries and partners
  • Create accurate performance forecasts and deliver upon such projections
  • Report regularly to the leadership team on the status of key partnerships and efforts
  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, legal and other internal stakeholders to map and launch partner requirements.

Your Skillz:

  • BS / BA degree from a top tier school required
  • MBA strongly preferred from a top tier school
  • 8-10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, corporate strategy, consulting, or investment banking
  • Significant experience with successful large-scale deal making and partnership management
  • Sound business judgment, problem solving and analytical problem solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team strongly preferred
  • Gaming industry knowledge a plus
  • Located in San Francisco, CA
