Softgiving is a tech startup that provides a fundraising platform for non-profits by utilizing partnerships with social influencers and innovative payment technology. We are one of a few companies selected to be part of the PayPal Giving Fund, giving us the ability to raise money for almost any nonprofit and the only company to do so using digital wallets. Our successful platform is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Director of Operations to help steer the ship.

As the Director of Operations, you will be the right hand to our CEO. You will serve as a cross-functional leader by aligning and optimizing our team activities across partnerships, product, marketing, and operations. You will utilize your business acumen to architect best practices and your servant's heart to roll up your sleeves and execute them alongside our agile team. Your growth track is commensurate to the organizational growth you impact.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversee partnership/marketing team that manages relationships with partners and agencies
  • Establish responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results
  • Work with team to create ongoing revenue goals and carry out the effort to meet them consistently
  • Leverage knowledge of business drivers to guide action and set objectives for the team
  • Actively gaining insight into customer needs, identify opportunities to increase our value-add to customers, and deliver solutions that meet/exceed customer expectations
  • Handle and manage crises effectively
  • Marshal resources allocation

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding how organizations work
  • Customer support experience with a track record of great working relationships with clients
  • Master communicator in a variety of settings (one on one, small to large groups)
  • Growing and hiring for teams, setting growth and hiring road maps
  • Familiarity with technologies, and able to evaluate emerging technologies to make adjustments
  • Follow through on commitments and hold others to a high standard of accountability
  • Act with a clear sense of ownership, and ability to be a vision caster
  • Ask the right questions and possess a knack for uncovering the root cause of problems
  • A natural results driver who persists despite obstacles and setbacks, and helps others achieve
  • Decisiveness and ability to work without a clear picture or full road map
  • Comfortable experimenting and learning quickly in new situations
  • Attentive listener and extremely organized
  • 5-10 years of total experience, including startup experience
