We are looking for a highly talented Senior Motion Graphics Designer to aid in social media video production in support of campaigns and content marketing for 15-20 hours a week.

The ideal candidate can convert existing videos/guidelines into multiple video formats and understands the nuances of editing and formatting video for specific social media channels, i.e. vertical video for Instagram stories, short captioned clips for Twitter or long-form for YouTube.

Ideally, you are based in Chicago and while we do not require you to work from our office, you will be asked to come in and collaborate with team members from time to time. For the right candidate, we do accept remote work as well, however, you must be based in the US where our social team is located.

Be sure to supply a single video in your application that best represents your work. It can be a reel or a single piece of content that you're particularly proud of.

What we look for in you

  • Very experienced in Adobe After Effects
  • Experienced in building an effective pipeline for exporting multiple video formats, durations and resolutions
  • Medium knowledge of making engaging videos for social media and best practices for legibility and duration cross platforms
  • Deep knowledge in video formats such as mp4 and ProRes 422
  • Medium knowledge in text animations
  • Fluent in English

Some nice to haves

  • Ability to create animated GIFs
  • Experience with basic live action recording and editing
  • Experience with basic video capture, editing and color grading
  • Experience with basic sound mastering
  • Ability to speak more than one language, i.e. Spanish, Russian, Chinese or German

  • Leveraged ever-green video content (ex. 1, ex. 2) to create content for new social posts

If you are here the next few months, you will

  • Play a key role in promoting Aim Master through video content that you make based on guides sourced from gaming content creators
  • Work with Social Media team to create off-the-cuff content that help us engage with our +3million large social audiences
  • Work with Creative team to create videos that will support our product launches
