StreamCrux seeks to revolutionize the experience of discovering and interacting with streamed games. This is a huge space in very rapid growth, with hundreds of millions watching and a 50% growth in number of hours watched – in short, a massive opportunity! It is however a confusing space for the new viewer, as the major platforms do not have great discovery functionality. We seek to support the current large platforms, creating a site that helps people discover just the streamer and content they are looking for, thereby becoming the go-to place for hundreds of millions of streaming viewers.

We have already launched the MVP, which has received a very positive reception from the streamer community. The next step is to build a truly comprehensive platform. This will require integrating to other platforms (YouTube, Mixer, Tamago,, etc.), building a rating system and laying the foundation for a recommendation engine.
It is the opportunity to become part of a truly epic journey!

The core responsibilities would be:

  • Taking full ownership of the growth of the platform – from paid media to organic growth and creation of the StreamCrux community
  • Establish and manage partnerships with streamer communities
  • Continuously develop and own our growth strategy
  • Lead and build our growth team
  • Be part of the senior management team, setting the overall direction for the business

You would optimally be/have:

  • a long time gamer and Twitch user (non-gamers are free to apply, but we value understanding of the streaming community VERY highly)
  • 3-5 years working experience within marketing – preferably in a similar role for a start-up
  • Experience in developing integrated marketing strategies
    Solid, hands-on experience with paid channels (SEM, FB ads, Twitter ads, YouTube) – in-depth understanding of display programmatic is a plus
  • Knowledge of inbound marketing (email, marketing automation, content marketing, etc.)
  • Experience with organic outreach (potentially to influencers – or in another “growth” role)
  • Some experience with PR
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • An outgoing, brazen personality
