About the Position

Twitch is seeking an innovative and entrepreneurial Senior Business Development Manager to join their EMEA Business Development team who enables the development and execution of the business development strategy in the region.

As a Senior Business Development Manager at Twitch, you will be a core contributor within the Business Development team in shaping and executing the strategy for growing Twitch in EMEA. You will own and drive key strategic partner relationships as well as source new partnerships that present a step-change growth opportunity for Twitch. You will work closely with game developers/publishers, content partners as well as other B2B partners to drive the supply of new content and experiences and drive Twitch’s growth in EMEA. You will also collaborate with teams across Twitch including finance, content, sales, developer experience and marketing to define a strategies to achieve our goals and execute them. On a day-to-day basis you will define and iterate the EMEA strategy while executing deals/tactical plans with partners and internal stakeholders.

We are seeking a business development specialist with experience in identifying and signing complex deals in the digital content acquisition and gaming landscape in EU. The ideal candidate has strong entrepreneurial traits, navigates solutions independently, and hustles goal-driven experiments quickly. We are also seeking successful experience in proactively identifying business development opportunities, independently championing them across functional lines internally with product, legal and marketing stakeholders under time constraints and high levels of ambiguity.


  • Source, evaluate, and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities for Twitch with content owners, game developers/publishers, and endemic/non-endemic distribution partners for growing the Twitch community in EMEA
  • Foster and develop key stakeholder relationships across the hierarchy with key partners in the region
  • Develop and execute partner/account strategy while factoring in Twitch/Partner goals, customer/community implications, and financial impact
  • Manage execution of strategic and tactical engagements with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Educate partners about Twitch product and community and understand partner context to seek GTM opportunities for Twitch’s current and future products.
  • Research the market and feedback market intel to HQ and internal BUs
  • Passion, interest and knowledge in the gaming industry


  • Top academic background in business/finance/economics
  • 5+ years of domain experience in digital content acquisition, business development, corporate development or Strategy/management consulting with a high velocity consumer internet business or top tier firm
  • Prior successful experience in the games/interactive entertainment/media space in EU, preferably in business/corporate development capacity
  • Successful experience in developing and managing high volume goal driven deal flow and executing strategic deals independently in a primary support role
  • Worked within a highly entrepreneurial environment (can-do attitude, great at "macgyvering" solutions independently)
  • Sound business judgment; strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
  • Strong analytical & strategic thinker with knowledge of online business models
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present to C-suite.
  • Open to travel (50%+)
