About the Position

Our mission is to provide top-tier service to our partners. The Strategic Partnerships Manager for Music will work with broadcasters filling a variety of different roles across the music ecosystem. You’ll take care of emerging artists and household names. You’ll keep your pulse on local scenes while also managing the relationships we have with globally renowned festivals. We’re looking for a person with endless enthusiasm to work with our music partners who are equally enthusiastic about growing the presence of live-streamed music content on Twitch. The ideal candidate has a customer service mentality, a passion for live streaming, and the desire to turn that passion into a career.

This position is based out of our San Francisco headquarters and requires relocation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and educate both UGC and B2B music partners
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with artists, labels, and show/festival organizers
  • Work with our Customer Support team to help resolve partner issues
  • Work with the Event Engineering team to help ensure the success of tentpole music events
  • Proactively gather feedback on Twitch products
  • Present feedback to internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3+ years Account management and/or A&R experience in the music industry
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure
  • Detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and highly-motivated
  • Excellent collaboration skills and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Polished customer service skills
  • Passion for live content and music
  • Willingness to travel to festivals, conferences, shows

Bonus Points

  • Data analysis experience using Excel or similar tools
  • Experience with SalesForce CRM software
  • Familiarity with the Twitch platform as both a user and broadcaster
  • Strong existing relationships in the music industry
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
