About the Position

Twitch Partnership Marketing will develop & execute against the ideal environment for publishers and streamers to fuel the world's most powerful influencer marketing engine. In service of this goal, Twitch Partnership Marketing ideates, develops and executes against co-marketing programs with all major gaming publishers utilizing the powerful proprietary tools at the disposal of both Twitch and Amazon. Our Team is seeking a Developer & Publisher Strategic Marketing Manager who will be responsible for contributing to the direction & promotional execution of co-marketing strategies for our largest publishing and streaming partners. The Developer and Publisher Strategic Marketing Manager will champion win-win promotional & go-to-market strategies to complementary Twitch business units, publishing partners, Twitch Creators and Twitch Viewers by working closely with internal and external creative & communication teams. Through enabling publishing partners to master the Twitch marketing engine and build the best communities around Twitch’s growing audience of entertaining creators we will nurture the Twitch brand into one of the most recognized brands in gaming through serving the communities that call Twitch home.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Marketing Partnerships on the intake of Twitch partnerships publisher opportunities and how they apply to the strategic content roadmap. Align long term brand & viewership goals accordingly.
  • Understand & ideate around the goals of our content & publishing partners, generating win-win scenarios within the Twitch platform.
  • Translate those ideas to clear and innovative marketing briefs that motivate efforts to advantage upcoming opportunities for marketing communication and creative teams.
  • Develop Brand Strategies to generate strong individual show tactics that contribute to brand growth one execution at a time.
  • Outline long term plans to streamline Twitch promotional processes, increasing communication output.
  • Partner with insights & analytics teams to draw ongoing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Be the steward of the Twitch Creator and Viewer community, driving insight that will improve their experience into production and communication efforts.
  • Create and communicate cross-department timelines for Twitch Partnerships initiatives; aligning with production & creative teams to achieve goals and take ownership of timely deliverables.
  • Proactively identify project risks and elevate to team members and leads.
  • Collaborate with department leads to create debriefs for completed projects and help improve flow with each effort.
  • Update management and project-appropriate leads regularly with status reports on open projects.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing management & partner relations management in gaming or theatrical or broadcast fields.
  • Experience showing a deep understanding and proven track record for success through marketing fundamentals in platform, broadcast, web, app or interactive software marketing management.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills come naturally while managing multiple facets of a complex product architecture to focus on business goals.
  • Understand how to strategically apply on-Twitch promotion as we evolve the Twitch experience through consistent product integration.
  • Soft management skills are critical to manage various teams & partners simultaneously, understanding challenges and generating solutions while spurring teams to victory.
  • Clear ability to self-generate the steps necessary to successfully execute a project.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Asana or other time/project management programs.
  • Clear, detailed written and verbal communication skills for internal teams and marketing peers.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with gaming publishers or interactive entertainment is a STRONG PLUS!
  • An understanding of the Twitch platform and it’s emerging market value is a major PLUS.
